Happy Monday! Nathan Godding has a pretty nice collection of old stamps!
I’ve been toying around with buying a few things from Photojojo! for a while now; mainly this, and this, and this. But the Dreamy Diana Lens seems so cool, I think I may need to take the plunge and make my first Photojojo! purchase. Basically, it allows you to take dreamy, soft-focus photos like the original Diana, with your DSLR. So cool! It is available with an adapter for either a Canon or Nikon DSLR, or if you are lucky enough to own this, you can purchase the DSLR adapter on its own without the lens. I know it’s been far too long since I posted last, but work has been super-busy! I am in love with this packaging/visual identity for Sis. Deli + Café, designed by Rasmus Snabb. I would have a really difficult time not keeping the packaging left over from the food and beverages!
via seesaw Want to come across a bit edgier? Let Etsy help you cultivate a punk sneer! Step 1: Make scornful fun of your own music taste and that of others using exquisite and hilaré letterpress cards. “5 Things I have learned from the in-depth reading of Ice Ice Baby: The Extraordinary Vanilla Ice Story, an Unauthorized Biography” card from rookery, or this incredible the Smiths card from kseniya. Step 2: accessorize a little ooky. You know, slightly Addam’s Family, slightly Ghost World. I recommend these old hi-fi pins from potatopotato with their beautiful vintage type. And/or this skeleton hands sweater clip from ItsASwindle — which of course necessitate wearing the right sort of sweater. Step 3: reference the cult canon. For instance, VenusFlytrapJewels‘ Banksy cufflinks (a pirate edition of renegade art. Be sure to point out the irony). Or FableAndFury’s Clockwork Orange prisoner number necklace, a reference so awesomely obscure it might as well be a tally of the cool points you garner by wearing it. Step 4: Don’t forget! First, Prettiness can be punk (courtesy of BeatUpCreations) and, for god’s sake wear the shark shirt (courtesy of darkcycleclothing).
How rad are these necklaces from Elva Fields? I love so many of them. Unfortunately since they are all one of a kind, almost all of them have been bought by other lucky fashionistas. To make them even more awesome, a portion of each online purchase is donated to charity. Posting has been light here at The Experts Agree, as we’ve been traveling. In honor of our travels, we’d like to introduce you to the fantastic luggage collection from Sarah Williams’ London College of Fashion master’s project Crafted Fashion. Its mix of funhouse distortions and solid worksmanship is really amazing to look at — oh how I would love to own one of these.
via whorange If you’re like me and love seeing what people’s homes look like inside and out, take a peek at the selby. One place that looks lovely to me is the home of Dan Martensen and Shannan. Funny how I’m drawn to rustic places out in the country when I was so opposed to that sort of thing growing up in one.
