Happy Monday! Kat Heye’s is one of my favorite illustrators. She’s got such a knack for knowing when to stop drawing/painting…a skill I admire so much. Enjoy!

Happy Monday! Brandi Strickland, a multi-media artist, and also one of the two people behind “the paper whistle” site has some really lovely collage pieces that I’m really enjoying. Hope you do too! Check out Brandi’s flickr site here. So sorry for the tardy posting…things are a bit hectic at work. I’m really enjoying this collection of Dutch books, posted by lliazd. Enjoy, and hope everyone is having a good Monday! Beautiful photographs by 19-year old photographer, Lieke Romeijn. I’m always a sucker for sun-drenched photographs! Lieke’s flickr site here. Happy Monday All! Hope everyone had a great weekend. It was absolutely beautiful here in the Bay Area! For today’s flickr Mondays, I’d like to introduce you to Netherland artist, Anja Mulder. I am in awe of Anja’s beautiful hand drawn lettering on old book pages. Her work brings a sense of calmness that I really do enjoy. Anja’s flickr site here. Happy Monday! Today’s post is about graphic designer/artist Louis Reith. Louis currently resides in Amsterdam, NL. I just happened upon his flickr site, and was completely blown away! Most of these pieces I’m posting about today, he creates out of old maps and book pages. For more photos and information pertaining to his work, check out his site here. These astronomy photographs by Jason Blaschka are amazing. I love that some of his photos are a bit abstract (and almost look like paintings), while others are so crisp, clear, and detailed. Enjoy! Hello! We’ve decided to start a new, recurring post on Mondays called “flickr Mondays. We’ll be posting about artists of all kinds that we find via flickr. We hope you all enjoy! This week’s feature is Kat Heyes…someone I’ve been gaga over for some time now. She is not only a wonderful photographer, but, also a really talented illustrator. Here are just a few shots I found on her flickr site that I’m in love with. Just ran across this beautiful stationery for Vista Caballo (a ranch retreat in Dove Creek, Colorado), designed by the amazing letterpress/design house, Studio On Fire. The simplicity of this work has me in awe. Love it! I know it’s been far too long since I posted last, but work has been super-busy! I am in love with this packaging/visual identity for Sis. Deli + Café, designed by Rasmus Snabb. I would have a really difficult time not keeping the packaging left over from the food and beverages!
