We’ve just added some new Mother’s Day card to our Etsy shop. We’ve been having a lot of fun with hand-drawn type lately, and while there is a lot going on on the card, but we are pretty happy with the results.
Click here for a few other Mom’s Day appropriate cards. Mother’s Day is May 10th (in the US and Canada, at least). Typically I try to avoid things that use the word “smooching,” but I had to make an exception for these magnets from Button Empire. I felt like they were made just for Owen and me—or maybe we’re not as unique as we’d like to think we are. Either way, I think they are fantastic. For those of you who aren’t married, they are available for boyfriends/girlfriends as well.
Without a doubt one of my all-time favorite etsy shops is Lab Partners. Owen and I already have a bunch of their prints, but I am really excited about the one I purchased last night. It is an artist proof of one of the prints from their Hunt & Gather show. I think they do really great work and love the ways that they use gocco. Plus, Owen and I are both total suckers for a visible halftone.
I know it’s not totally relevant, but I am in LOVE with the new red hoodie and skinny jeans that I just got from blythestation. There’s something so hysterical about seeing the hoodie when it’s not being worn: the size of the hood relative to the torso just kills me. Thanks, Kiki!
