September 4th, 2009 by owentroy Tania Alvarez is from Mexico City but studied in Montreal. She put together these astonishingly delicate, organic vector art alphabet systems. The first sample is from “Fabric” which wraps its vector tatters about a bodoni-esque hairline frame. The second is from “Overseas,” where the tatters themselves make the letterforms.

Just a very quick post about something that I came across yesterday. There are some fantastic wallpaper designers out there and Louise Body Wallprint is one that I really like. She creates dreamy wallpapers, fabrics and handpainted cushions. I’m partial to the lace designs (of course), but I kind of love them all.

Spoonflower, seems like such an awesome new site. You upload a design and they print custom fabric for you. I really want to try it out. It costs $18/yard, but you can get a swatch for $5, so I think you can try it out before committing fully.
